The enclosed system forms an above ground pit for the stunt group, decreasing the rate, speed, and height of the fall for the flyer and providing a soft landing surface upon impact. The flyer is protected in every direction and bases are “caught” during a fall by the inner mat system. This keeps the entire stunt group safe, as well as eliminates the dangers of traditional floor spotting where multiple athletes fall together to the ground. \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe inside shape is designed to keep the bases in tight with minimal movement and prevents them from “stepping out” and forming bad technique. Additionally, the material used and specific height creates a spotting platform for coaches to manipulate the body at or near eye level, teaching body awareness, muscle memory, and confidence prior to groups attempting new skills alone.
